What the BrandDad scheduler does

Create one post, pick the channels and schedule it for all of them at once. Before anything goes out, you review it and approve it.

A queue with fixed times

Set your weekly time slots. New posts drop into the next free slot automatically, the scheduler suggests good times and can add the first comment for you.

AI for captions and hooks

The AI writes captions, hooks and hashtags in your voice. Founder and Creator include 30 AI posts and 10 AI images per month, Pro 100 and 40.

Analytics that follow the click

When is Buffer the better fit?

Buffer is an established scheduler with a generous free plan: up to three channels with ten scheduled posts each, according to its website (as of 22 Oct 2026). If you only schedule one or two channels and need neither a link-in-bio page nor click attribution, Buffer can be cheap or free. For large teams with approval workflows for many people, Buffer offers its Team plan.

BrandDad makes sense once you post to several channels and want your posts to send people to your page. With Buffer Essentials you pay $6 per channel per month, so $18 for three channels. Add a link-in-bio tool such as Linktree Pro for €15 and you are at about €30 per month (monthly billing, prices as listed on the vendors' websites). BrandDad Founder costs €10 per month plus VAT for up to eight channels, page included.

The biggest difference is attribution. A scheduler knows when a post went out. BrandDad also knows how many people landed on your page afterwards and whether that turned into an inquiry or a new newsletter subscriber.

Is BrandDad cheaper than Buffer?

It depends on how many channels you use. According to its website, Buffer Essentials costs $6 per channel per month on monthly billing (as of 22 Oct 2026). BrandDad Founder costs €10 per month plus VAT for up to eight channels. From two or three channels the fixed price is usually cheaper; for a single channel it may not be.

Can I use BrandDad for free like Buffer Free?

The link-in-bio page is free forever. In the Free plan the scheduler is only available as a promotion: the first 100 free users get one channel with ten posts per month. For more channels and unlimited scheduled posts you need Founder, Creator or Pro.

Which networks does BrandDad support?

Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads and Bluesky. X (Twitter) is an add-on for €4 per month plus VAT with 300 posts, 15 of them with a link, because X charges per link post. Pinterest is in preparation. From Founder you connect up to eight channels.

What does post attribution mean?

Every post you schedule with BrandDad automatically gets its own link to your link-in-bio page. When someone clicks it, BrandDad attributes the visit to that post, without cookies. You see clicks per post and the inquiries or email sign-ups that followed. Available from Founder.

Can I schedule with a team?

Yes, with Pro. It costs €29 per month plus VAT and includes three team seats, 15 channels, 100 AI posts and 40 AI images per month. Founder and Creator are meant for one person. In every plan you can review and approve posts before they are published.

How do I cancel if it doesn't fit?

All plans are monthly. There is a cancel button in your account, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing month. Your link-in-bio page then falls back to Free and stays online. You can export your data at any time.
