When is Beacons the better fit?

According to its pricing page, Beacons offers far more selling features than BrandDad does today: a store, courses, memberships and email sends to your list. If you want to sell digital products directly on your page and are looking for a ready-made platform for that, Beacons is a good fit. BrandDad has no built-in selling feature; you link to your shop or course provider.

BrandDad is the better fit when your page mainly needs to catch people coming from your posts and you want to know which posts work. Page and social scheduler live in the same account, and every scheduled post gets its own link. So you see clicks and inquiries per post instead of a single total.

Does BrandDad charge fees on my sales?

No. BrandDad charges a 0 % platform fee. There is no built-in selling feature yet, so you link to your shop, course provider or payment page. What you earn there stays between you and that provider. You only pay us for your plan, and you can cancel monthly.

Can I sell digital products with BrandDad?

Not directly yet. You can link, highlight and measure clicks to any shop, course platform or booking tool on your page. If you want an all-in-one solution with a store and courses today, a platform like Beacons is built for exactly that, so it may suit you better.

How much does BrandDad cost?

Free costs €0 and has no time limit. Founder costs €10 per month plus VAT for the first 100 customers, for as long as the subscription runs. After that, the same plan is called Creator and costs €19 plus VAT. Pro with five pages and three team seats costs €29 plus VAT.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, from Founder. You connect a domain you already own or buy one through BrandDad. The domain is billed yearly and separately from your plan. Without your own domain, your page lives at branddad.io/@yourname and is also reachable at branddad.io/@yourname.

How does the email list work?

A sign-up block on your page collects email addresses. Contacts land in your inbox and can be exported as CSV at any time, for example for your newsletter tool. Free holds 100 contacts, Founder and Creator 1,000, Pro 5,000. BrandDad does not send newsletters itself.

Do I need an imprint?

If you post commercially in Germany, for example with ads, affiliate links or your own offers, you usually need an imprint (Impressum). BrandDad gives you an imprint and a privacy page with fields to fill in. We don't give legal advice – if in doubt, have your details checked by a professional.
